Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Tended. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and Mintbyte, a solopreneur software studio operated by Ilya Subbotin ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the Tended iOS application ("the App"). By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are to be read alongside Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store applications, which also applies to your use of Tended. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall take precedence solely with respect to the matters it covers.
Tended is a personal maintenance tracking application for iOS. It provides a curated catalog of routine life maintenance tasks and allows you to record when you have completed them, helping you stay aware of what you have and have not attended to recently.
The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use. It is not a medical device, a safety system, or a substitute for professional advice. Tasks and recommended intervals in the catalog are provided for general informational purposes only.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
Tended offers a free tier ("Tended Essentials") with access to a selection of items, and an optional annual subscription that unlocks the full catalog of 170+ items ("Full Catalog").
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple's payment terms and policies. We do not handle, store, or have access to your payment information.
The Full Catalog subscription renews annually. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
Refund policy: All purchases are subject to Apple's standard refund policy. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple through the App Store. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
We reserve the right to modify the content of the free or paid catalog at any time, including adding, removing, or updating items. An active subscription entitles you to access the full catalog as it exists from time to time and does not guarantee any specific item will remain available permanently.
The App, including its design, content, task catalog, recommendation text, code, and all associated materials, is owned by Mintbyte / Ilya Subbotin and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Your use of the App does not grant you any ownership rights in the App or its content. The task catalog and all associated text are our proprietary content and may not be reproduced, copied, or used outside the App without our express written permission.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal maintenance tracking. You agree not to use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of the App.
Since Tended has no social features, no user-generated content, and no network communication beyond Apple's standard purchase verification infrastructure, the scope for harmful conduct is minimal. These restrictions are stated for completeness and legal clarity.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any task descriptions, recommended intervals, or informational content in the catalog. Maintenance intervals and recommendations are general guidelines only and may not be appropriate for your specific circumstances.
You assume all risk for any damage to your device or loss of data that results from downloading or using the App.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MINTBYTE OR ILYA SUBBOTIN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App exceed the amount you paid for the App or the in-app purchase that is the subject of the claim, or fifty US dollars (USD $50), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mintbyte and Ilya Subbotin from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.
The task catalog may include references to or links to third-party informational resources for educational purposes. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites or resources.
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your right to use the App terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms. We also reserve the right to discontinue the App or any portion of it at any time, with or without notice.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your devices. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, and 12 of these Terms survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at the address below. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the United States.
If you are an App Store user, you may also have rights under Apple's standard App Store terms that apply independently of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
